The 49ers currently face a critical juncture in their ownership of Leeds.
Fans want Daniel Farke to be sacked after the German lost six of his last seven Premier League games to put Leeds in the relegation zone.
Should Leeds sack Daniel Farke?
Interestingly, Nottingham Forest and West Ham – both of whom made early managerial changes – have now leapfrogged Leeds in the table.
On the transfer front, all is not well either as Juventus now join the race to sign Kobbie Mainoo – according to Tutto Juve.
Juventus want Kobbie Mainoo and Leeds United academy graduate
Leeds have been linked to Mainoo as Ruben Amorim continues to overlook the England international at Manchester United, failing to hand the midfielder a single Premier League start this season.
Now – however – there is serious competition emerging from Italy.
MORE LEEDS UNITED STORIES
Tutto Juve believe Juventus see Mainoo as another Paul Pogba, who they took from Old Trafford on a free transfer back in 2012 before later selling the Frenchman to Manchester United for £89m in 2016.
Which position do Leeds United need to strengthen most in January?
The Italian giants can offer the Manchester United academy graduate UEFA Champions League football, as can Napoli – who Tutto Juve state are also keen.
It comes after Juventus also made Charlie Cresswell a target – a player Farke gave up on at Leeds and sold to Toulouse for just £3.8m back in July 2024.
Charlie Cresswell receives rave reviews for latest performance at Toulouse
Even if Juventus only manage to sign Cresswell this winter, it would still be a painful development for Leeds.
The England U21 international continues to shine ever since Farke ousted him from Elland Road, receiving a glowing review from L’Equipe for his display on Sunday despite Toulouse suffering a 1-0 defeat against Angers.

Cresswell – who West Ham also want – was the only Toulouse player to receive a positive rating, with L’Equipe writing: “The English centre-back could have scored early on, but his headed effort hit the bar in the 5th minute. After that, he was combative and effective in his work. He was never caught out.”
Leeds will receive 15% of the fee if Cresswell does leave Toulouse, but fans would surely prefer to see him dominating at the back alongside Joe Rodon in Yorkshire.
