New Premier League supercomputer predicts Man Utd and Man City final points and positions after Everton and Newcastle defeats

Manchester United and Manchester City both lost on their respective returns to Premier League action as the domestic calendar resumed following the final international break of 2025.

The Red Devils were beaten at home by 10-man Everton on Monday night while Pep Guardiola’s side were beaten 2-1 by Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Saturday.

City’s defeat leaves them seven points adrift of Arsenal at the top of the table while United are 10th after seeing their five-game unbeaten run ended by the Toffees. They are just three points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa, however.
