Everton left Ruben Amorim shellshocked on Monday evening by securing an unlikely win over Manchester United with one less man on the pitch.
The Man United manager will be coming under some serious questioning in the days to come, but he’s already shared an insight on the future of two Everton transfer targets.
David Moyes picked up his first victory in the Premier League at Old Trafford and it was clear just how much it meant to him at the full-time whistle.
Amorim admitted he did not agree with Idrissa Gana Gueye’s sending off despite it giving his side the numerical advantage over the Blues.
The Portuguese manager’s players left a lot to be desired at the Theatre of Dreams, which saw the travelling fans leave extremely happy.
After the game, Amorim was quizzed by the media, with the future of two players coming under real scrutiny.

Heading into the January transfer window, Everton News understands that Everton want to sign a new striker.
One of the players on the radar is Joshua Zirkzee, who played against the Toffees on Monday evening.

After the game, Amorim was asked during his press conference what may lie ahead of Zirkzee and Kobbie Mainoo in January.
“The club comes first, it’s the number one priority. We have to think about the club and the team,” said the United boss.
Who was your MOTM vs Man United?
“After that, anything can happen”.
Everton have also shown an interest in Mainoo, who may become an even bigger target following the recent developments in midfield.
Moyes is going to have some interesting decisions to make in January, with Everton now down to just James Garner and Tim Iroegbunam in the middle.
Everton need goals but Thierno Barry impressed against Man United
Zirkzee was denied a goal by a staggering save from Pickford, who managed to get his fingertips on the striker’s header.
It was a stunning save from the England number one, who denied the Everton striker target from levelling the scoreline.
This has to be one of the saves of the season!
Where would Everton be without him?
Thierno Barry won an incredible 14 aerial duels in a game where he was never going to have too many opportunities after the sending off.
Small strides are being taken by the 23-year-old on the back of a slow start to the season.
In recent weeks, Barry has been seen working on his strength in the Finch Farm gym as he retains his spot in the starting XI.
However, questions will be asked as to whether Zirkzee would actually provide Everton an upgrade on Barry.
