Manchester United are closing in on a deal to sign Cristian Orozco, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils are set to sign the midfielder as part of a strategic plan to sign talented young players from around the world. Led by director of football Jason Wilcox, the club are looking to restore Man United back to their place as one of football's top sporting sides by recruiting with the short and long term in mind.
Of course, getting Ruben Amorim's side firing in the Premier League is the biggest priority, but with a new signing imminent, it seems like the future could be very bright at Old Trafford.

The deal to sign Orozco is one which is bound to be really exciting for Man United fans. While he might not be a young attacking star from South America like Estevao or Alejandro Garnacho, the midfielder is someone who could marshall the club's midfield for many years to come.
South America is a real target for the Red Devils right now after they signed Diego Leon. The 18-year-old full-back signed from Paraguayan side Cerro Porteno in July after the club struck a pre-contract agreement for the player.
Of course there's a long way to go for Orozo on his journey to fulfill his footballing potential, but this investment from Man United indicates that they're backing him to become a future superstar. Perhaps it won't be long until we see him strutting his stuff in the Premier League.
