Ruben Amorim has urged his Manchester United players to learn from previous mistakes when they travel to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
Manchester United are currently sitting 10th in the Premier League after a mixed campaign thus far.
The Red Devils started the season slowly before embarking on a five-match unbeaten run at the beginning of October. That sadly came to an end when United lost 1-0 against Everton on Monday night, with Ruben Amorim’s side now winless in three matches.
If United are aiming to get into the top four, they need to be winning more matches starting now, but the next game involves a tricky trip to Crystal Palace.
Palace have been in good form this season and sit fifth in the Premier League, with United-linked Adam Wharton being a key player in Oliver Glasner’s side.

Ruben Amorim demands Man Utd to improve away form
United have won just one away game in the Premier League thus far this season, thanks to Harry Maguire’s winner against Liverpool at Anfield.
That also means they’ve drawn three and lost two away games since the beginning of the season, gaining a total of three points on the road.

Moreover, United have scored eight goals on the road, which is considerably less than the 12 they’ve conceded.
In United’s last two away games – against Tottenham and Nottingham Forest – the Red Devils were guilty of throwing away comfortable leads.

When asked about United’s away form, Amorim urged players to learn from the mistakes they’ve made in recent away matches.
“The same things that we need to do to show to the players why we lost control of Forest why we lost control against Tottenham,” Amorim told reporters at his press conference on Friday afternoon.
“And if you look at those games they were there to win. Sometimes a small detail can change everything. Then I felt this year when we play at home the intensity is higher and I felt in this game at home the intensity was not at the same level so I think it is something that we need to work on.
“It is hard to point at one thing why we are not winning away. There is a lot of issues that we are improving. Like I say, we have advantage in the away games but we need to know how to finish the games in order to win.”
Ruben Amorim looking for first win over Crystal Palace
Amorim has only managed one game against Crystal Palace since becoming United head coach.
It ended in a 2-0 defeat as Jean-Philippe Mateta scored both of the goals.

That means Amorim is looking for his first win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
United will likely go into the game as underdogs given their inconsistent form away from home.
