Manchester United have been dealt a massive blow with the news that Matheus Cunha won't be available to feature against Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils head to Selhurst Park on Sunday lunchtime in the hope of getting a valuable three points on the board after a disappointing couple of weeks.
Back-to-back 2-2 draws against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham before the international break were followed by a 1-0 home defeat to Everton on Monday evening to dampen the positive momentum that had been built in October.
Cunha was a notable absentee for that clash against the Toffees and unfortunately for Ruben Amorim, he's set to be missing once again for Man United this weekend.
Matheus Cunha Ruled Out Against Crystal Palace

Man United will be without Cunha for the trip to Crystal Palace after picking up a head injury in training. The incident was reported as a 'training ground accident' that prevented him from switching on the Christmas lights in Altrincham and stopped him from featuring against Everton.
According to reports from talkSPORT, Cunha was also knocked out during the incident, meaning that he'll miss the trip to Selhurt Park as a result of concussion protocols.
The FA's concussion guidelines state: "Concussion should be managed with a short period of relative rest followed by a gradual return to normal activities as symptoms allow.
"Relative rest involves resting both the body (physical rest) and resting the brain (cognitive rest).
"After the initial 24–48 hour period of relative rest, a staged and graduated return to full daily activities (education/work) and football training is allowed but at a rate that does not worsen existing symptoms, more than mildly, or produce new symptoms."
Cunha Absence 'A Massive Blow' For Man United
Ruben Amorim
As per Nathan Salt of the Daily Mail, the absence of Cunha is 'a massive blow'. The Brazilian star was a huge miss for Manchester United during the 1-0 defeat to Everton, with his dynamism and goalscoring instinct being a big absence in their side.
The clash against Crystal Palace has the potential to be a really tricky contest with the Red Devils unlikely to get too much joy at Selhurst Park. It means that the loss of a player like Cunha — alongside the missing Benjamin Sesko and Harry Maguire — means that the side will likely be missing vital firepower in attack.
Amorim did reveal that he expected to have the former Wolves star back in contention for Thursday's clash with West Ham, but with Man United keen to stop their three-game winless run, fans will be disappointed to be without such an important player.
