Patrick Dorgu faces a one-match Premier League ban if he receives one more booking. The news comes after the defender apparently 'liked' a social media post ridiculing Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim.
The Dane's Instagram account interacted with a post criticising Amorim's use of Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro in a midfield pivot. The post, shared by 'mufcunion', contained a comment from X that read: "Any coach that sees Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes as a viable pivot is one that isn't serious."
The caption of the Instagram post said: "Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro CANNOT play together," and was 'liked' by the 21-year-old left-back's account. Dorgu has his own problems to handle as he will have to be careful against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
If the left-back receives a yellow card against the Eagles, then he will miss out on United's home fixture against West Ham on Thursday, December 4.
Amorim has yet to speak on Dorgu's online actions, but many would argue he also has bigger fish to fry in terms of United's current run of form. The club are currently sat in 10th place after dropping down the league table due to a few poor results.
United had been on a big upswing earlier in the season, beating the likes of Liverpool, Brighton and Sunderland to maintain a winning streak. However, draws against Tottenham and Nottingham Forest saw this form stumble and eventually nosedive after their 1-0 loss to Everton.
Despite Idrissa Gueye being sent off in the 13th minute for an altercation with his own team-mate, Michael Keane, United couldn't capitalise on the one-man advantage and went down to a 29th-minute strike from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Now, a new challenge awaits in fifth-placed Palace, and United need to be at their best against last year's FA Cup winners.
With the Red Devils fully focused on domestic football, given that they didn't qualify for any European competition this season, Amorim needs all his players available so he can concentrate on pushing the club back up the table.

Speaking ahead of the Palace match, Amorim said: "They are a different club [to us] and they are doing things better than us so that is quite simple.
"We play in a different way and they are just doing things better than us. They are doing things really well and they play more in transition than us. We have to look at all of these things when we compare our teams but of course, in every position, we can do so much better."
When asked if his team hold an advantage given their lack of European football, the Portuguese boss said: "I said the same thing last year when we were in Europe and I say the same thing this year: there [is an] advantage and disadvantage of not being in Europe. There are no excuses. We have to always win games."
