United manager Amorim faced immediate criticism in the aftermath of the Red Devils’ result against the Toffees and has found the pressure on him once again.
The 40-year-old former Sporting CP manager has had to contend with injuries in his United first-team squad, with Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko both ruled out.

Palace broke the deadlock against United ahead of half-time after Jean-Philippe Mateta converted from the spot-kick on his second attempt on Sunday afternoon.
Jean-Philippe Mateta sent Senne Lammens the wrong way in his initial effort and slotted the ball into the bottom left corner, only for his penalty to be ruled out.
The 28-year-old was deemed to have touched the ball twice and was forced to take his spot-kick again, with Mateta sending Senne Lammens the wrong way again.

Palace took a 1-0 lead into the break over United at Selhurst Park before Amorim’s men rallied back within the first 10 minutes of the second half through Joshua Zirkzee.
Bruno Fernandes floated in a ball from a free-kick and Joshua Zirkzee brought it down with his chest before firing his strike past Dean Henderson from a tight angle.
The 31-year-old United captain then set up Mason Mount after Bruno Fernandes rolled the ball into the path of his club teammate from a dangerous free-kick.
Mount struck a sensational low strike through a sea of legs and Dean Henderson was unable to deny the effort, with United taking a 2-1 lead in the 63rd minute.
