United manager Amorim faced immediate criticism in the aftermath of the Red Devils’ result against the Toffees and has found the pressure on him once again.

Palace broke the deadlock against United ahead of half-time after Jean-Philippe Mateta converted from the spot-kick on his second attempt on Sunday afternoon.

Jean-Philippe Mateta sent Senne Lammens the wrong way in his initial effort and slotted the ball into the bottom left corner, only for his penalty to be ruled out.

The 28-year-old was deemed to have touched the ball twice and was forced to take his spot-kick again, with Mateta sending Senne Lammens the wrong way again.
