Bruno Fernandes will be looked back on as a Manchester United legend
While not next to the Ryan Giggs’ or Wayne Rooney’s of club history, Fernandes is cementing himself as a modern-day great.
191 goal contributions in 304 games as a midfielder is an immense record and one that ranks alongside the best in club history.
Fernandes might not have won the trophies needed to be a clear club legend, but his performances alone have carried the club and continue to through dark times.
David de Gea and Fernandes are in a similar boat, deserving a better team to play in, but United will hope that there is yet success to be had for the Portuguese captain.
