Sir David Beckham has praised Ruben Amorim and believes Manchester United are improving following Sunday's much-needed 2-1 win at Crystal Palace.
United ended a three-match winless run by coming from behind to beat Palace at Selhurst Park. Second-half goals from Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount cancelled out Jean-Philippe Mateta's opener.
It was a result which moved the Reds back into the top half of the Premier League and into seventh, three points off fourth-placed Aston Villa and four adrift of Manchester City in second.
Speaking after United's win at Palace, Beckham - who was present at the Qatar Grand Prix alongside Gary Neville - told Sky Sports: "I think there are signs of the manager turning things around.
"He has tweaked a few things and we are coming into a few better results. There's still a long way to go and there has been a few games where we haven't been playing as well.
"But I think we've got a good manager there and I think he is changing things slowly."
Last month, Beckham was approached to back a takeover bid for United, according to The Sun. A consortium from the United Arab Emirates asked ex-Reds midfielder Beckham to be an ambassador for the bid, with the Middle East firm said to be preparing to make an offer to buy the Glazers' majority shareholding in the club.
Beckham has often been critical of the Glazers, with the 50-year-old calling on the Americans to sell in 2023 while admitting he would be open to future involvement with the club.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos took control of the club's football operations in late 2023, after buying a 27.7 per cent stake. In March, the Reds announced the intention to build a new 100,000-seat stadium next to Old Trafford.
As for Amorim, he cut a relieved figure after United's win at Palace. When asked if he'd said anything to prompt a reaction from his side at half-time as the Reds trailed 1-0 to Palace, Amorim said: "No, we just wanted everyone to understand the game.
"I felt in the last 10 minutes of the first half that the opponent was struggling, and that they would struggle in the second half.
"We had that feeling. And we needed to do something to change the way we were playing.
"We tried to change little things in the game - the intensity and the quality in the way we connect, especially Josh [Zirkzee] - he improved a lot the way we played."
