What Man United players spoke about before Crystal Palace

United were under big pressure to bounce back from Monday’s demoralising 1-0 defeat to Everton at Old Trafford.

Defeat at Selhurst Park would have left United without a win in four consecutive matches. Instead, the second-half comeback means the Red Devils have jumped up to sixth.

At full-time, Mount spoke to TNT Sports and revealed what was said among the squad in the lead-up to Sunday’s clash.

“We’ve not found it easy away from home this season, obviously it was a very difficult result in the last game, so we needed to bounce back.

“That’s what we spoke about before the game, and I thought we showed good character to come back after going a goal down.

“It was about reacting in the changing room for the second half, and I thought we did that really well. We were at it.”

Mason Mount has starred in both away wins

United have been dominant at home and struggled away this season.

In the six away matches, United have only won twice – at Anfield and at Selhurst Park.
