Sir David Beckham has heaped praise on Ruben Amorim and believes Manchester United are on the up following Sunday's crucial 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.
United ended a three-game winless streak by battling back from behind to see off Palace at Selhurst Park, with second-half strikes from Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount overturning Jean-Philippe Mateta's early opener.
The victory propelled the Red Devils back into the Premier League's top half, climbing to seventh spot - just three points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa and four shy of second-placed Manchester City.

Speaking after United's Palace victory, Beckham - who was watching the Qatar Grand Prix alongside Gary Neville - told Sky Sports: "I think there are signs of the manager turning things around.
"He has tweaked a few things and we are coming into a few better results. There's still a long way to go and there has been a few games where we haven't been playing as well."
"But I think we've got a good manager there and I think he is changing things slowly."

Last month, Beckham was reportedly approached to support a takeover bid for United, according to The Sun, with a consortium from the UAE asking him to serve as an ambassador for their bid as they prepare to make an offer for the Glazers' controlling stake.
Beckham has frequently criticised the Glazers, with the 50-year-old urging the Americans to sell up in 2023 whilst acknowledging he'd be interested in future involvement with the club.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos assumed command of the club's footballing affairs in late 2023, following their acquisition of a 27.7 per cent shareholding.
In March, the Red Devils revealed plans to construct a new 100,000-capacity ground alongside Old Trafford. Regarding Amorim, he appeared visibly relieved following United's triumph at Palace.

When questioned whether he had delivered any motivational words to spark a response from his team at the interval, with the Red Devils trailing 1-0 to Palace, Amorim responded: "No, we just wanted everyone to understand the game.
"I felt in the last 10 minutes of the first half that the opponent was struggling, and that they would struggle in the second half. We had that feeling. And we needed to do something to change the way we were playing.
"We tried to change little things in the game - the intensity and the quality in the way we connect, especially Josh [Zirkzee] - he improved a lot the way we played."
