Mason Mount and Joshua Zirkzee both scored their first goal of the season as Manchester United beat Crystal Palace.
Manchester United’s two goalscorers were natural candidates for the Man of the Match award after driving a 2-1 comeback victory against Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils were trailing at half-time to Jean Phillipe-Mateta’s penalty before Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount scored to rescue three points.

But there were several other impressive performances across the pitch. Luke Shaw starred on his 300th United appearance, while Diogo Dalot deserves credit for silencing his critics.
United scored both goals from set pieces, which were taken by captain Bruno Fernandes. As always, the Portuguese playmaker also put his name in the hat for the Man of the Match voting.

Man United fans vote Bruno Fernandes as Man of the Match
As per Manchester United’s official Man of the Match voting, it was indeed Fernandes who came out on top with 44% of the votes.
Mason Mount ranked second with 19% of votes, while Shaw and Zirkzee tied for third with 12%.

Fernandes gave United ‘intensity’ at Selhurst Park, and he was also the creator for both goals. His two assists saw him surpass Paul Scholes’ assists in the Premier League.
Amorim confirmed that Fernandes did not pick up a hamstring injury despite him being pictured holding his leg in the final minutes.

Once again, fans voted Fernandes as the Man of the Match with 41% of votes. Interestingly, Mount also ranked second on United in Focus’ poll but with a higher percentage of 24%.
Zirkzee collected 12% of the votes, with Casemiro and Matthijs de Ligt getting just 8% and 5% of the votes.
