Matheus Cunha has taken to social media to share an update ahead of Man United's next fixture.
The Brazilian star has been missing for the Red Devils' last two fixtures against Everton and Crystal Palace. Losing 1-0 to the Toffees, Ruben Amorim's side then secured a 2-1 victory over the Eagles at Selhurst Park over the weekend.
Cunha's absence was reported as a 'training ground accident' that prevented him from switching on the Christmas lights in Altrincham, before ruling him out of the contest with David Moyes' side.
It was then reported that Cunha was knocked out during the incident, meaning that his absence was due to concussion protocols.
Matheus Cunha Hints At Return Against West Ham

Fresh from missing Man United's last two fixtures, Cunha had been hoping to return to action for the Premier League contest against West Ham United on Thursday.
While it's not confirmed that he'll definitely be involved, the former Wolves forward took to social media on Monday with a message that strongly suggested that he'd been passed fit to be involved against Nuno Espirito Santo's side.
Posting on his Instagram story, Cunha wrote: "Back back back!" His post also included an image of him looking happy in training.

Cunha's Return A Massive Boost

The return of Cunha for Manchester United will be a huge boost for Amorim. While the Red Devils did manage to secure a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at the weekend it's been clear that the team having been missing the Brazilian star.
Lacking a cutting edge in attack, Amorim's side have looked stale in attack and lacking in dynamism as a result of Cunha being sidelined.
Since arriving from Wolves for £62.5million over the summer, the 26-year-old has arguably been Man United's best player and is already justifying his price tag with his performances.
Unfortunately for Man United, results have been hard to come by on a consistent basis, with the club sitting seventh in the table. If they're going to crack the top six and build a sustainable challenge for Champions League football, then they'll need players performing at the top of their game — something that Cunha is certainly doing.
While he's only managed one goal so far this term, performances suggest that there's a lot more to come from Cunha and fans will undoubtedly be happy to see him back in the team on Thursday night, if selected.
