Carlos Baleba terms 'agreed': The Athletic reports on Tuesday morning that United and Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Carlos Baleba 'agreed personal terms' but the club decided not to bid for the player because the asking price would be too high.
Conor Gallagher interest: Conor Gallagher is again being linked with a move to United having been tipped to sign for the club in the past few windows. Fabrizio Romano reports that United, Newcastle, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are all interested in making a move for the player when the transfer window re-opens in January.
Nathaniel Brown links: Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg reports that United are 'keeping an eye' on Nathaniel Brown's situation. The Frankfurt left-back is also a target for Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Who else is being tipped: Elliot Anderson is reportedly United's No. 1 midfield target, but he is highly valued by Forest, with a potential price tag of £80-£100 million. Other Premier League midfielders continually linked include Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton.
Done deal: United agreed a preliminary deal with the Colombian side Fortaleza to sign Cristian Orozco. The move will be officially confirmed when he turns 18 next year and will remain with his current club until the move can be finalised.
Who could leave?: Kobbie Mainoo is a target for Napoli, who are reportedly keen on securing the young midfielder on a loan deal in January. Tyrell Malacia could also exit, as could Joshua Zirkzee.
What Amorim has said: Ruben Amorim, speaking after an injury to striker Benjamin Sesko last month, spoke about the upcoming transfer window. "Let's see when the window is open, if we can improve the team and try to prepare something that happened. Until then, we have to take the chance."
