Everything you need to know about Manchester United's duo at risk of Premier League suspension ahead of the Reds' clash with West Ham United...

Manchester United to play host to West Ham United: Ruben Amorim's Reds are back in action come Thursday, December 4, when they face West Ham at Old Trafford. The two sides will kick off at 8pm.

The rules of the Premier League: As per The FA's disciplinary rules, a player who picks up five yellow cards in the first 19 matches of a season will face a one-match suspension. Suspensions do not carry over to the EFL Cup or the FA Cup, and must be served in the Premier League.

Casemiro on a fine line: Casemiro is on the verge of picking up a one-match suspension after facing yellow cards against Fulham, Sunderland, Liverpool and Everton. He has already served a ban after receiving two yellows against Chelsea.

Patrick Dorgu also at risk: As a result of also picking up four yellow cards this term, full-back Patrick Dorgu is also one away from a suspension.

Which game could Casemiro and Dorgu miss: Should both United players find themselves booked against West Ham, Casemiro and Dorgu will miss United's clash with Wolves on Monday, December 8.

How United look at present: Following a shaky start to the season, United have finally started to find their rhythm under Ruben Amorim. Unbeaten in six of their last seven outings, the Reds currently sit seventh in the Premier League standings, as they look to qualify for Europe for 2026/27.

Injury issues: Amorim also has a number of injuries to navigate looking to United's match against the Hammers. Benjamin Sesko and Harry Maguire are all but ruled out for this week's game, while Matheus Cunha is touch and go.
