Manchester United have a clear strategy of targeting the best young players ever since Ineos took control of football operations.
There are many examples of young players who have been brought to Manchester United in recent years, with the club aiming to attract talent that will brighten the future of the club.
They include players like Ayden Heaven, Chido Obi, Sekou Kone and Leny Yoro. Ineos are likely to continue their spree of signing young talent in 2026.
Cristian Orozo is set to join United once he turns 18 amid comparisons to Moises Caicedo.
It seems as though United are not yet done scouting young talent, with another exciting midfielder being scouted.

Man Utd send scouts to watch Sergej Levak
Croatian midfielder Sergej Levak has impressed for Atalanta’s U23s side this season.
It is believed that Levak has attracted attention from multiple clubs since his move from Roma’s academy to Atalanta, with Inter Milan missing out on the 19-year-old.
According to Calciomercato, United sent a scout to follow the youngster recently, as Levak has started each of the last ten matches in Serie C – Girone C.

The report compares to defensive midfielder to Man City’s Ballon d’Or winning midfielder Rodri, which will be enough to excite United fans, who want a long-term replacement for Casemiro.
On top of that, Levak has already scored three goals for Atalanta’s youth team this season to prove that he is more than capable at the other end of the pitch.
Levak has yet to make an appearance for the Atalanta first team, but the Italian club may need to promote him to fend off interest from bigger clubs.
United have signed two young players from Atalanta in recent years, such as Amad Diallo and Rasmus Hojlund.
It remains to be seen if Levak impressed the scouts sent by United.

Although Levak has yet to make a senior appearance for Atalanta in Serie A, the young midfielder could join two other midfielders who left Italy to sign for United since 2000.
Neither Juan Sebastian Veron nor Paul Pogba hit the heights that were expected of them following mega-money moves to Old Trafford.
Levak will be looking for a better outcome if he is to join one of Europe’s biggest clubs in the coming years.
