Chido Obi is among three youngsters who could leave Manchester United on loan in the January transfer window, journalist Katherine Walsh has revealed.
The 17-year-old striker has yet to feature under Ruben Amorim this season after appearing in eight first-team games last term, and there is a high possibility he could continue his development elsewhere.
United are reportedly open to sending Obi out on loan at the turn of the year in search of regular first-team football in the EFL or National League.
The ‘outrageous’ forward has impressed for Man United’s Under-21s this term, scoring five goals in 13 games.

According to Walsh, United are also set to assess Ayden Heaven’s situation in January, with the 19-year-old defender struggling for first-team football this campaign.
Heaven has played just 158 minutes this season and was an unused substitute in the 2-1 win at Crystal Palace over the weekend.
With Lisandro Martinez returning from a lengthy injury absence, Heaven faces an even tougher battle for first-team minutes in the New Year, and a loan move next month is a possibility.
Paraguayan full-back Diego Leon could also be among the departures at the turn of the year, having yet to make a senior appearance for United since arriving this summer.
The 18-year-old has featured regularly for the Under-21s this term and is reportedly open to taking his talents elsewhere in search of regular first-team football.

Man United youngsters have struggled under Amorim this season. The Portuguese tactician recently said it was ‘too soon’ for Obi to make his Premier League debut last campaign and openly criticised Patrick Dorgu.
Speaking before the 2-1 win over Palace, Amorim claimed he could sense nervousness from the 21-year-old 'every time he touches the ball' and urged Dorgu to be 'calmer'.
Dorgu, who joined from Serie A side Lecce in February, has made seven Premier League starts and a further five appearances off the bench.
The Denmark international has only started twice in United’s last seven games in the competition.
