Manchester United scouts are busy keeping track of the best young midfielders in world football, but one is quickly becoming a must-sign.
In 2026, it is almost certain that Manchester United will sign multiple midfielders.
As a matter of fact, United are plotting a potential January move with Angelo Stiller considered an affordable option for the Red Devils.
However, this won’t complete the overhaul in midfield, and interest in signing a wonderkid in this position is persisting, with some of the biggest talents in the world being linked.
But scouts might have just found the perfect talent for Ruben Amorim.

Last week, Mouzakitis shone for Olympiacos in their 4-3 defeat to Real Madrid, playing the entire 90 minutes as scouts watched on.
This has been claimed by the Daily Mail, who explain that while Madrid were so impressed by Mouzakitis that they are mulling over a £25m offer, United scouts were present.
Xabi Alonso praised Mouzakitis after this game, and signing him will be a real coup for Ineos.

This was likely influenced slightly by his performance against Madrid, in which he proved he would be the perfect Amorim midfielder.
Amorim wants hard-working midfielders, but also on the ball quality, and Mouzakitis brings this, covering 11.7km (most in the match) against Real Madrid while also winning 6/7 duels and completing 2/2 dribbles.
Mouzakitis is the all-action midfielder Amorim’s system desperately needs, and £25m would be a bargain, much better value than £100m for Adam Wharton, for example.
