Three Manchester United players are poised to leave the club on loan next month. Chido Obi, Ayden Heaven and Diego Leon are the trio in question, with United head coach Ruben Amorim prepared to let them to go out and get more game time during the second half of the season.
First, Obi hasn't played a single minute for United's first-team in 2025/26 after Amorim made the decision to place him in the Under 21s for the season. He has since impressed, scoring five times in 13 games.
The 18-year-old, who made eight senior appearances for the Reds last season, is improving all the time and there is talk that the next step is to send him out on loan in the January transfer window.
Indeed, according to The Sun, United are open to sending Obi out on loan next month to continue his development by gaining more first-team minutes in the EFL or National League.
Heaven, 19, is another player United want to send out on loan. The teenager stood out when he was thrown into the deep end by Amorim last season, notably impressing against former club Arsenal.

But, like Obi, Heaven has struggled for regular first-team game time this season. He has played just 28 minutes in the Premier League, coming on as a second-half substitute against Fulham and Brighton.
And Lisandro Martinez's return from injury has now pushed Heaven down to third-choice left centre back, behind the Argentine World Cup winner and England international Luke Shaw.
A place on the bench for Heaven could be at risk when Harry Maguire is fit again in the coming weeks. Heaven got a run out for the U21s against Solihull Moors in the National League Cup last week.
Leon, meanwhile, is the third United youngster touted to go out on loan. The 2007-born sensation joined the Reds from Cerro Porteno in the summer but has failed to make a first-team appearance thus far.
While Leon has been named in the senior matchday squad four times, his game time has been with the U21s this season. He scored his first for Travis Binnion's side in a 4-1 win over Tottenham in October.

Goalkeeper Radek Vitek has excelled since making the loan move to Championship side Bristol City in the summer, while full-back Harry Amass has been impressive following his switch to Sheffield Wednesday. Both Vitek and Amass look capable of making the step into United's first-team squad next summer.
Although the Reds might be able to recall Amass due to their obvious issues at left wing back, the club deem it best for Amass to continue developing out on loan at Wednesday.
England Under 20s forward Ethan Wheatley, 19, has scored three goals and added two assists in 17 games for League One outfit Northampton Town. Meanwhile, midfield duo Ethan Ennis and Dan Gore have started plenty of matches at Fleetwood Town and Rotherham United respectively.
