The confirmed Man Utd team news to face West Ham in the Premier League on Thursday night.
The Brazil international has missed the last two matches after he suffered a head injury in training late last month. Cunha's injury was only described as a 'minor issue' at the time, but he subsequently missed two matches as a precaution. He returned to full team training in midweek and will be available for selection later this week.
Cunha has been a key part of the United squad under Ruben Amorim this season, scoring one goal in 11 appearances for the club. He is expected to start on the bench on Thursday night and could be back in the starting lineup against his former side Wolves, on Monday night.

Manchester United team news vs West Ham
Manchester United have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of their home match against West Ham in the Premier League.
Matheus Cunha will be available for selection again after his recent training ground injury, though Harry Maguire and Benjamin Sesko will both be sidelined due to their recent injuries. Maguire has missed the last two matches after he suffered a hamstring injury in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur last month, while Sesko has been sidelined since he suffered a knee injury in the same encounter.
There was some fresh concern ahead of the match though after Ruben Amorim confirmed two unnamed players were doubts for the match and might not be available to feature on Thursday night.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Wednesday afternoon, the United head coach was asked for an update on his squad ahead of the West Ham fixture. "We have two doubts for the game, it will change the way we’re going to approach it, let’s see if they can play,” he said. “The rest of the squad is good. Mathues is back but Harry and Sesko are still out."
