Man Utd are back in action when they face West Ham in the Premier League on Thursday night.
Ruben Amorim has confirmed he spoke with Leny Yoro after the emotional reaction to his poor performance for Manchester United against Crystal Palace.
The 20-year-old has been a key performer for United this season, but struggled as United came from behind to win 2-1 at Selhurst Park over the weekend. Yoro conceded a cheap penalty as Palace took the lead through Jean-Philippe Mateta and was later substituted for Noussair Mazraoui in the wake of Joshua Zirkzee's equaliser.
Yoro cut a frustrated figure as he made his way to the United bench and appeared to be annoyed by his rare off-day in the backline. Mason Mount was later spotted consoling Yoro at full-time as other players celebrated their rare win at Palace.

Amorim backs Yoro after Palace mistake
Ruben Amorim has backed Leny Yoro to bounce back from his poor display in Manchester United's victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon. The 20-year-old gifted Palace the lead when he conceded a cheap penalty and never seemed to recover from his rare lapse in concentration.
Yoro has made 46 appearances since he signed from Lille last year and Amorim believes his mistake against Palace was simply a result of his young age. The French centre-back could retain his place in the starting line up when United host West Ham in the Premier League on Thursday night with Harry Maguire still injured.
"It’s really important [Mount gesture]," Amorim said in his pre-match press conference. "I also spoke with him [Yoro] because he thinks too much, he makes a mistake in the game and then he struggles because he’s too young and he wants to do everything so well. He’s growing, with games and with setbacks, it’s not easy for him as a young guy.
"He cannot give that to the people the way he came to the bench, he understands that but he was really frustrated. On the good side it shows that he cares, he knows it wasn’t his best game but he did some things well and I showed him that also. He’s fit and ready for the next challenge."
