The confirmed Man Utd team news and injury latest to face West Ham in the Premier League.

United have made three changes from their weekend win over Crystal Palace with De Ligt replaced by teenage centre-back Ayden Heaven in the starting line up. The other changes see Noussair Mazraoui replace Leny Yoro and Matheus Cunha selected ahead of Mason Mount.

Ruben Amorim revealed United had two injury doubts for the West Ham match and it is understood those were in reference to both De Ligt and Mount. De Ligt has missed out from a place in the squad entirely while Mount is fit enough for a place on the bench on Thursday night.

Manchester United confirm De Ligt setback

Matthijs De Ligt had started every Premier League match for Manchester United this season but has been left out of their squad to face West Ham in the Premier League tonight.

The Dutch defender is not fit enough for a place in the United match day squad, but Ruben Amorim is hopeful he will be available for selection when they travel to face Wolves on Monday night. "It's a small thing. I expect to have him in the next game. The rest of the guys are ready,” Amorim told Sky Sports ahead of kick-off.

When quizzed on the decision to name Leny Yoro on the bench, Amorim added: "As a manager, we need to think about everything. I spoke to Leny, not about leaving him out but about the message. He is so disappointed but it is a tactical issue. It is a clear option and a tactical option. Today we need to win, no matter what."
