Man United's clash with West Ham on Thursday night offered an intriguing update before kick-off after Luckhurst spotted the club's director of recruitment pre-match at Old Trafford.
Taking to X, Luckhurst wrote: "#mufc director of recruitment Christopher Vivell wandered over to the non-regulars section of the directors' box. Seemed to be checking on the presence of certain agents and/or scouts."
Vivell was named as the club's director of recruitment in February this year and has played a key role in overseeing Amorim's recruitment at the club. With the January transfer window coming up, it suggests that discussions with a number of agents and scouts of other clubs could be planned for the days ahead.

The pre-match sighting of Vivell will certainly be intriguing for Manchester United supporters who are keen to see the club delve in the market next month.
Agents being present at the club's clash with West Ham could indicate that the Red Devils are looking to hold discussions over potential targets, while the attendance of scouts may suggest that clubs are taking a look at their players with a view to outgoing deals.
Man United have been heavily linked with a move for a central midfielder. Ellliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba and Adam Wharton have all been linked with a move. Antoine Semenyo is also thought to be a transfer target due to his £60million plus £5m release clause in his Bournemouth deal.
In terms of outgoings, Joshua Zirkzee and Bruno Fernandes have been linked with moves away of late, as has Kobbie Mainoo. Meanwhile, Harry Maguire and Casemiro are both out of contract at the end of the season and could agree a pre-contract deal with an overseas club as early as January 1.
