Manchester United have led their matches against Nottingham Forest, Tottenham and West Ham, only for the club to blow their leads and pick up draws instead.

The Red Devils were back in action at Old Trafford on Thursday evening and United’s 1-1 result against West Ham was another setback for Ruben Amorim’s men.

United dropped valuable points on Thursday evening and missed out on the chance of closing serious distance on the Premier League top four in the current campaign.

“You saw the games that are lined up. Everton, Crystal Palace, they won the most difficult game at Crystal Palace.

“You know, West Ham at home, Wolves on Monday. And you’re thinking, oh, ten points. That could put Manchester United into a serious position in the league.”

Neville pointed out that United could even find themselves in third place in the table if they capitalised on their opportunities ahead of European football fixtures returning.

“You know, they could be up there in third and really then sort of starting to think about the program they’ve got when everybody kicks into European football and the Cup competitions kicking again into sort of February, March,” he continued.
