Roy Keane dropped a scathing verdict on Manchester United fans after what he spotted during the Premier League match against West Ham at Old Trafford.
The 54-year-old legendary former Manchester United captain was on punditry duties in the Sky Sports studio for the Red Devils’ 1-1 draw on Thursday evening.

Manchester United’s 1-1 scoreline against West Ham left Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane with a lot to say in his post-match assessment on Thursday evening.

Keane was deeply critical of Mason Mount on one front, while the United legend deeply questioned the Red Devils’ run of form under Ruben Amorim in recent weeks.
Speaking on Sky Sports, the iconic ex-Red Devils midfielder was far from impressed with United fans giving “every player” a “standing ovation” at Old Trafford.

“I see people going on and off and every time, it was a substitution to where players were walking off,” he said.
“Every player at Old Trafford now gets a standing ovation. Every player, I’m going, what are the standards of the club?”
Goalscorer Diogo Dalot was one of the United first-team players to receive a standing ovation at Old Trafford after Patrick Dorgu replaced him in the 68th minute.

The Irish hardman insisted that United fans need to stop pandering to the players for doing the simple things and challenged the “standards” in the club’s fan base.

Keane asked: “Where are the standards from? Is it coming from the top, the players, even the fans?”
The Irishman then added: “The fans are cheering everything these days.
“Where’s your standards? Where’s your demands on the club? Where’s your expectations?
“I’m not saying to boo them, but every time a player traps a ball now, he’s a hero.”
United will now travel to the Molineux on Monday evening and Ruben Amorim’s men will face Premier League strugglers Wolves at 8pm UK time.
