Manchester United Under-18s celebrated a 2-0 victory over Newcastle at Carrington on Saturday, with Jacey Carrick, the son of former United midfielder Michael Carrick, making his debut at this level. The left-footed midfielder, who has previously been involved with the England Under-15 team, is highly regarded within the United academy.
Jacey had previously played alongside Kai Rooney for United's Under-16s in the SuperCupNI, a prestigious youth tournament in Northern Ireland. He has continued to progress this season, having already won national titles at Under-14 and Under-15 levels, playing a pivotal role in both victories.

With the score still 0-0 at half-time, 15-year-old forward Douka Nkoto came on and delivered an impressive performance, scoring twice to secure his first goal at Under-18 level.
Nkoto's first goal came from close range after a solid build-up play by Godwill Kukonki. The centre-back also contributed to Nkoto's second goal, which doubled the lead for United.
He concluded an impressive performance by providing his first assist for the Under-18s, setting up 16 year old Noah Ajayi to clinch a second consecutive victory for United. This win propelled them to fourth place in the U-18 Premier League table.
