Man Utd have made another addition at youth level and here is everything you need to know.
Manchester United have signed teenage goalkeeper Charlie Hardy from Derby County. The 16-year-old is an England youth international and is expected to compete for the starting spot at U18s level immediately.
Hardy announced his exit from Derby back in September and reached an agreement to move to Manchester the following month. He has had to wait another two months for all the necessary paperwork and ratification but is now officially a United player.
The youngster has already made five appearances for England U16s and is regarded as one of the best young goalkeepers in the country. Hardy was named on the bench against United U18s when he was only 14 and later made his debut for Derby U18s at the age of 15. The teenage goalkeeper was handed his England U16 debut by former United youth team coach Neil Ryan.

Taking to social media after his United move was made official, Hardy uploaded a picture from Carrington along with the caption: “Proud to sign for Manchester United, the hard work continues.”
It is understood Hardy will initially feature for United at U18s level and be coached by former midfielder Darren Fletcher. If he impresses during his debut season with the club, Hardy would be eligible to sign a first professional contract when he turns 17 next July.
Congratulations to Charlie Hardy on his move to Manchester United.

Earlier in the year, Hardy also took to social media to confirm his Derby exit. He wrote: "After almost a decade at Derby County, the time has now come for a new chapter.
"It’s been an incredible nine years here. I just want to thank everyone at the club who has supported me throughout my journey and helped me to become the player and person I am today. I’m grateful for all the memories I’ve made throughout my time at the club and the lads I’ve played alongside, I wish everyone at the club the best for the future."
