Man Utd are back in action when they face Wolves in the Premier League on Monday night.

Diogo Dalot believes he and his Manchester United teammates 'need to become a bit more obsessed about playing for the club' if they are to find success under Ruben Amorim.

United currently sit 12th in the Premier League after their dismal draw with West Ham in midweek, but could go as high as fifth if they win against Wolves at Molineux on Monday night. Due to the congested league table, one result can quickly change the mood, and a run of two or three wins could see them move clear of the teams packed into midtable.

Amorim's side have lost as many league matches as both Man City and Chelsea this season, and would currently be in the top four had they not lost to Everton and won against West Ham. United have a huge chance to add three points to the board against bottom-side Wolves tomorrow and Dalot wants to see a passionate response from his teammates.

Dalot sends message to United teammates

Diogo Dalot was almost the hero for Manchester United in midweek when he scored the opening goal against West Ham in the Premier League. The Portugal international has played well over the last few matches and will hope to keep the positive momentum going against Wolves on Monday night.

"I think we've shown this season that we can be a very good team and we can beat anybody. Then, it's something that we need to get into ourselves. Sometimes, it's not football qualities. It has to be from inside. It has to be from the anger and the drive that you have every day to win football games and to live your life like that.

"I think we need to become a bit more obsessed about playing for this club, winning games and winning trophies for this club. But it's a process. I'm not going to get into the we need time thing.: I think we have to win straight away because that's what the club demands. That's why it hurts sometimes even more when we have opportunities like this and we don't win."

Ruben Amorim recently demanded more from Dalot in a wing-back role and he has responded well with an improved performance against Crystal Palace and a goal against West Ham. Asked about those comments, he added: "I think it's something in general. He could be talking about me, but I think he could be talking about everyone at the club.

"We always have to find ways to improve ourselves, be more consistent. We are in a team where you're as good as your last game. So, you just have to know that this is a type of pressure for a big club like Man Utd. Fortunately, I'm here long enough to understand how it works and find a way to help the team. I think that's the aim for everybody."
