I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner Angry Ginge got some advice from last year's runner-up Coleen Rooney before heading Down Under. The Salford-born streamer was crowned King of the Jungle on Sunday.
Ginge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, grew up in Eccles and created a Twitch account at the age of 19 where he streamed playing FIFA. His online fame has skyrocketed to astronomical proportions since 2020 and the boyhood Manchester United fan often collaborates with other high-profile content creators and sports stars.
Before jetting off to Australia, where he endeared himself to the public and beat E4 Celebs Go Dating receptionist Tom Read Wilson and EastEnders actress Shona McGarty to the crown, it has now been revealed that Ginge received some valuable advice from another famous face.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, United and England legend Wayne Rooney, husband to the 2024 I'm A Celebrity runner-up, revealed that friends Ginge and fellow contestant Aitch were given some tips from his wife before appearing on the show.
"She [Coleen] gave them a few tips. It was little things like, when you go to the toilet empty your water bottle out so they give you fresh water," said Rooney.
"Speaking to Coleen, it is tough and it is real out there," he added. "She really enjoyed it. She loved her time in there. It gave her really great memories."

Rooney's other half was a fan favourite on her renewal of the hit ITV show but was pipped to the crown 12 months ago by McFly singer Danny Jones.
Ginge wasn't Rooney's preferred winner of the show this year however as he admitted before the final episode aired: "I want to come on and give Aitch my support. He's been outstanding.
"He's been himself and you've seen at times him get a little bit emotional," added Rooney about the rapper. "It's good to see, because it's showing he's vulnerable as well at times. He's missing his family at home."

But it was Ginge who was crowned the winner on Saturday and the 24-year-old immediately burst into tears upon hearing his name called out by Ant and Dec.
Ahead of announcing the winner of the competition, the hosts revealed they had received the highest number of viewer votes in 10 years.
"I don't think I can swear, but I feel amazing," said Ginge. "Honestly, a dream come true. I didn't think I could go all this way never mind win. Thank you to everyone who voted."
He earlier said of the experience: "It was a lot harder than I thought it'd be. I'd reached out to people before I went in to get some advice, but nobody warned me about what I was about to go through.
"No one said it was going to be that hard. That was the hardest thing I've ever done and was a real mental test. There were so many times I wanted to throw the towel in."
