Ruben Amorim's side head into the game in 12th but will climb to six if they claim all three points.

It would see United move level on points with Chelsea and just a point off fourth.

Meanwhile, Wolves will remain rooted to the foot of the table regardless of the result.

The home side are currently winless on two points after 14 matches and are 13 points from safety.

Wolves vs Man United: Team news

Rob Edwards is set to welcome Ladislav Krejci back after the defender missed last week's defeat to Nottingham Forest.

Joao Gomes will be unavailable, though, as he serves a one-match ban after a fifth yellow card of the season in that match.

Elsewhere, Rodrigo Gomes remains out until February after surgery on a groin injury.

As for United, Amorim is expected to have both Diogo Dalot and Matthijs de Ligt available.

Harry Maguire will miss out, though, with the defender not set to return from a thigh injury until the weekend.

Benjamin Sesko's comeback from a knee problem is also not expected until next Monday's clash with Bournemouth.

Wolves vs Man United: What's been said?

Wolves boss Edwards discussed the pressure of needing a first win of the season during his pre-match press conference.

He told reporters: "It's the life of what we do. Everyone is under pressure. Mikel (Arteta) will for different reasons.

"How do we lift it? By being consistent. We have to be living like we're a winner on and off the pitch."

Meanwhile, Amorim expects Wolves to pick up a win in the near future.

The Portuguese admitted: "Everything can happen and that will change.
