However, Juventus hit back inside the first 15 minutes of the second half after Kenan Yildiz cancelled out Hojlund’s first-half opener from a counterattack.

Hojlund signed off a superb performance for Napoli by completing his brace in the 78th minute, with the on-loan United striker netting a 78th-minute header.

Hojlund has netted six times and registered two assists in 15 matches across all competitions since his deadline-day move from United to Napoli in September.

Antonio Conte has relied on the Napoli striker to fill the void left behind by former United striker Romelu Lukaku, who suffered a pre-season injury back in the summer.

Hojlund had fallen out of favour under Ruben Amorim at United after the Red Devils had landed Benjamin Sesko from German outfit RB Leipzig back in August.

However, the former Atalanta forward has truly come into his own at Napoli and is keeping Conte’s men in control of the Serie A title race in the 2025-26 campaign.

Defending Italian champions Napoli are a point clear of second-place Inter Milan after their 2-1 Serie A win over Juventus at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
