Manchester United’s FA Cup third round draw opponents revealed

Manchester United will host Brighton in the third round of the FA Cup.

The ceremony for the FA Cup third round draw took place on Monday evening, ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League clash against Wolves.

Ruben Amorim’s side enters the oldest cup competition in English football, along with other Premier League and Championship clubs. They will face fellow top-flight side Brighton.

The FA Cup is the only trophy United can win this season, after failing to qualify for European competition and being knocked out of the Carabao Cup following an embarrassing defeat against Grimsby Town.
