With a grand total of 64 teams still left in the competition, the FA Cup third round draw has now taken place. All eyes will likely be on Tottenham Hotspur vs Aston Villa, which is arguably the glamour tie of the round.
Current holders Crystal Palace, who beat Manchester City 1-0 in the 2024/25 final thanks to Eberechi Eze's goal, will take on Macclesfield away from home.
The third round will be played across the weekend of Saturday, 10 January. There are no replays if any games end in a draw, however, as all ties will go to extra-time and then to a penalty shoot-out if necessary. Brackley Town or Burton Albion meet tonight as the final match of the second round. The winner will meet Boreham Wood.
With former England internationals Joe Cole and Peter Crouch tasked with drawing the balls this evening, here are the results:

Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank reacts on the touchline
Perhaps the most eye-catching fixture of the round will be Tottenham Hotspur vs Aston Villa. Spurs last won the FA Cup in 1991, while Villa have not done so since 1957, although were finalists in 2015, losing to Arsenal.
Unai Emery's men have been in fine form and will hope to contiune that in this tournament. Thomas Frank has struggled to get the best out of his new team at home so far, so the trip is not quite as daunting as it could be for Villa.
Manchester United will play Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford, while Everton's match up with Sunderland is another top flight meeting. Newcastle United will also face Bournemouth, with Eddie Howe hosting his former side.
Arsenal travel away to Portsmouth, Liverpool host Barnsley, Manchester City host Exeter City, and Chelsea are away at Charlton in the other games containing the traditional favourites.
