Manchester United issue updates on four players after Wolves win

Wolves 1-4 Manchester United match highlights and review

The latest Man Utd injury news after they defeated Wolves in the Premier League on Monday night.

The Dutch defender had been an ever-present for United in the Premier League until last month, but missed their 1-1 draw with West Ham and did not recover to face Wolves. Amorim had initially hoped to have De Ligt available for the trip to Molineux but he was not deemed match fit for the clash.

United are back in action when they host Bournemouth in the Premier League next Monday night and it is unclear whether De Ligt might be available for that. Speaking after the win over Wolves, Amorim was asked for an update on the 26-year-old: "I don't know," he told reporters. "I don't know, sometimes you have an idea, but then you have to see day by day. So, I am not going to say when he's going to be back."

Speaking in his post-match press conference, Ruben Amorim admitted he was still unsure whether the trio would be available to face Bournemouth, with a final answer expected in midweek.

"The club is talking with the national teams," Amorim said. "Let's let's wait for the middle of the of the week. I don't know for sure, but we are doing our job and the national teams are talking with us and that is a good sign."
