Wolves 1-4 Manchester United match highlights and review
Man Utd picked up an important win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.
United made one change from their dismal draw with West Ham last week as Mount replaced Joshua Zirkzee in the starting line up. It was a change that worked a treat, as Mount picked up the Player of the Match award with an excellent, all-round performance.
Mount scored an excellent goal to give United a 3-1 lead in the second half and also caught the eye with an impressive passing performance. It was one of the best performances the 26-year-old has produced in a United shirt and a reminder of the untapped potential he still has to offer the side.

Amorim hails Mount after Wolves win
Ruben Amorim has always been a huge fan of Mason Mount since he arrived at Manchester United and piled him with praise after their 4-1 win vs Wolves.
"I think also the way we play, if you compare the past that he had in Chelsea, which Chelsea is the same, and then he has a great quality," Amorim told reporters after the match. "He can defend, he can attack, is really the quality that when he touched the ball is really good. So it's not a surprise for me, but of course, we need to take care of him. Sometimes you need to protect them in training in games, but when you build, that is going to happen the same, the same thing with Luke Shaw. So he's going to build that and it's going to be really important for our club."
When asked if he saw Mount as one of the leaders of his United side, the head coach added: "Yeah, he’s a different type of leader. It's not like Licha, for example. It's a guy that leads by the example. It doesn't matter the situation. Mason Mount is always the same thing, training, talking, dealing with people around Carrington. That is not easy. So he’s a very, very good player."
Mount will hope to keep his starting role when United host AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League next week and could have a key role to play when Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo depart for the Africa Cup of Nations. Asked why the midfielder had only started seven matches this season, Amorim explained he had to be careful managing his fitness.
He said: "No, sometimes it's the tactical issue. When you play a striker and sometimes Cunha is going to that position or sometimes it's also, we need to protect Mason Mount. We need to build the same thing that we did with Luke last year. We are doing with Mason taking care of him."
