Manchester United have climbed to sixth in the Premier League table after a dominant 4-1 win over Wolves at Molineux.
Ruben Amorim’s half-time team talk inspired a strong second-half performance, with Bryan Mbeumo scoring to put United back ahead before goals from Mason Mount and Bruno Fernandes wrapped up the victory.

Scoring on Monday evening means Mbeumo’s incredible record against Wolves has been extended, but the 26-year-old is already looking for more.
After the full-time whistle went at Molineux, Mbeumo posted photos of the victory on Instagram, accompanied with a motivating caption.

Mbeumo simply wrote: “We keep pushing”. The post was liked by several teammates, including Amad Diallo, Lisandro Martinez and Leny Yoro – who also replied in the comments.
It sums up the current mentality of the United squad, who should sense an opportunity to challenge for a top-four spot in the Premier League this season.
When is Bryan Mbeumo leaving for AFCON?
United are next in action on Monday evening at home to Bournemouth in the Premier League, but AFCON starts on December 21 and Mbeumo is one of three players departing to compete in the tournament.
FIFA’s AFCON rules state that players can be retained until December 15, the exact date that United face Bournemouth.

After the Wolves win, Amorim revealed that United are in talks to try and keep hold of not only Mbeumo, but also Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui.
“The club is talking with the national teams,” Amorim said post-match. “Let’s wait for the middle of the week. I don’t know for sure, but we are doing our job and the national teams are talking with us and that is a good sign.”
