Wolves 1-4 Manchester United match highlights and review
The latest Man Utd injury news ahead of an important run of fixtures for Ruben Amorim.
Benjamin Sesko is expected back in Manchester United action 'very soon' after he suffered a knee injury against Tottenham Hotspur last month. The 22-year-old has missed the last four United matches due to injury and was also forced to withdraw from the Slovenian national side for their final World Cup qualifiers.
Sesko limped out of United's 2-2 draw with Tottenham after he had been introduced as a substitute in the second half. He only came on in the 58th minute but was forced off in the 88th minute after a challenge from Micky van de Ven. United had already used all of their allocated substitutes and had to finish the match with 10 players.
Ruben Amorim initially expected Sesko to be out for a month at most, with a return over the festive period the early expectation. It is still not clear when he will be deemed fully match fit, though he is getting close to being available again.

Sesko agent issues injury update
Manchester United will issue an injury update on Benjamin Sesko when Ruben Amorim holds his next press conference on Friday afternoon. United are back in action when they host AFC Bournemouth at Old Trafford next Monday night and will hope Sesko's return can help offset the loss of Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo due to their Africa Cup of Nation commitments.
Speaking with Slovenian television, Sesko's agent, Elvis Basanovic, provided an update on his client: "Benjamin is feeling very well. His rehabilitation is progressing according to plan. It’s hard to say precisely when he will return. That will be up to the medical staff and the manager, but I think we’ll see him back on the pitch very soon. Maybe even sooner than expected."
Basanovic also spoke about Sesko's start to life in Manchester and reiterated that United aim to win the Premier League title within the next two years. He added: "Manchester United did well in the transfer market this summer. They brought in some excellent players who will prove over the next few years that they deserve to wear this shirt.
"[Matheus] Cunha, [Bryan] Mbeumo and Sesko have played very few matches together," he added. "They need games, certain automatisms, and then things become easier. When you don’t have to think about where a player is or where he’s going to run, but you do it automatically. Then the results come, and everything looks much better."
"We all want them to compete for the league title, but we can’t expect that to happen overnight. Every project needs time and the right decisions, and I think they are on the right track. I believe that within the next two years, United can challenge for the very top spots."
"Ruben is an excellent person with fantastic charisma," he contined. "He is extremely intelligent, emotionally intelligent. He knows what he is doing. I believe it’s not easy to build such a project, one that requires an enormous amount of patience. United is one of the biggest, if not the biggest club in the world.
“He is a very honest person. A good man, everything he does, he does with good intentions. He is also exceptionally professional, and I believe he is an outstanding coach. He has his own vision and knows how to bring United back to the top.
“But he needs time, which is difficult to explain in such a big club. Everyone wants immediate results, but this team and Ruben deserve time. Progress is clear compared to last season, and I believe next year will be even better. Another year later, we can realistically expect a push for the Premier League title."
