Leeds United, Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday - Yorkshire football's The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
Sheffield Wednesday reportedly face competition in their quest to retain the services of Manchester United defender Harry Amass.
Late in the window, the teenage defender was loaned to the Owls after his parent club covered key finances to grease the wheels.
He has been a hit at Hillsborough, quickly settling into Championship life and defying his tender years with mature performances.
It has repeatedly been suggested Manchester United are happy with the progress the left-back has made in South Yorkshire. Amass, meanwhile, is thought to be enjoying life in S6.
However, reports have also indicated a fresh agreement regarding his loan stay will need to be struck in January.

Harry Amass competition
According to The Star, other clubs have expressed an interest in taking Amass on loan for the second half of the season.
This development could be a spanner in the works for Wednesday, who can not really afford to lose key figures when their squad is already thin.
However, the pace at which Amass has developed on Henrik Pedersen’s watch could work in their favour.
Manchester United development
There has also been a significant development at Old Trafford that will alter the landscape somewhat.
Retired centre-back Jonny Evans has left his post as Manchester United’s head of loans and pathways just months after taking on the role.
He is believed to have done so to spend more time with his family and the BBC have suggested it was an amicable departure.
Evans will have undoubtedly been a key figure in discussions with Wednesday regarding Amass’ loan deal.

His exit threatens to alter the landscape somewhat, although there is every chance a replacement would be happy for Amass to stay put.
For Wednesday supporters, it is now a case of waiting with bated breath as the January window approaches.
Amass, who does not turn 19 until March, was recently voted as Wednesday’s Player of the Month. He scooped 82 per cent of the votes, beating Barry Bannan and Charlie McNeill to the gong.
