Wolves 1-4 Manchester United match highlights and review

The latest Man Utd injury news and expected return dates ahead of the Premier League home match vs AFC Bournemouth.

Manchester United have been handed an unexpected injury boost ahead of their upcoming Premier League clash with AFC Bournemouth next week.

United climbed to sixth in the table with a comfortable 4-1 away win over Wolves on Monday night and have a week to prepare to face the side that currently occupies 13th. Manchester United injury news and return dates

De Ligt has missed the last two matches due to an injury, but could be back to face Bournemouth. He was initially expected to feature against Wolves, which would indicate the setback is not too serious. A further update on him is expected at the next press conference on Friday afternoon.

Sesko has returned to training on the grass after his knee injury last month. He was initially ruled out for around a month and could be back for one of the matches next week.

Speaking earlier this week, his agent Elvis Basanovic said: "Benjamin is feeling very well. His rehabilitation is progressing according to plan. It’s hard to say precisely when he will return. That will be up to the medical staff and the manager, but I think we’ll see him back on the pitch very soon. Maybe even sooner than expected."

Maguire has missed the last four matches after he suffered a hamstring injury in the draw with Tottenham Hotspur. He has yet to return to training and might not be available for selection until Boxing Day.
