Marcus Rashford has emerged as a potential target for Tottenham.
Rashford has been linked to Tottenham ahead of the January transfer window while on loan at Barcelona for the campaign.
The England international was targeted previously, with Tottenham showing interest in Rashford before his surprise switch to Camp Nou.
Aston Villa beat Spurs to Rashford nearly 12 months ago as the forward opted for a Villa Park move ahead of the North London club.
A move could still be on the cards for Rashford in N17, with a recommendation emerging ahead of a potential summer deal.

Tottenham warned against Marcus Rashford signing
Joe Cole loved what Rashford did against Newcastle in the Champions League as the loanee netted a brace for the Catalan outfit.
That was further undoubted proof of the quality the Englishman possesses, just months after showing some excellent form under Unai Emery.
The Manchester United loanee may have contributed to 14 goals in 21 LaLiga games, but it doesn’t appear that Hansi Flick wants to keep him around next season.
That could leave the door open for Spurs to swoop in and sign Rashford, but ex-Tottenham scout Bryan King has urged his former side against the signing.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, King said: “I wouldn’t have him. For me, he’s too similar to Richarlison or Dominic Solanke.
“They need a new centre-forward, but I’m not sure he’s the man for Tottenham.
“He should have stayed at Villa.

“I think he had a good season there, but why he never thanked them and stayed there, I don’t know. Where’s his loyalty? Is he going to show that to Tottenham?
“They’ve spent £165m on forwards, Tel, Solanke and Richarlison, and they still haven’t got a centre-forward.
“*I don’t think Rashford is the answer. They’re scraping around for players.*“
Thomas Frank must get more out of current Tottenham stars
There is no shortage of quality in this Lilywhites side that is in need of backing to help find their best form consistently.
Tel has seriously struggled since signing from Bayern Munich, while Solanke has been ruled out through injury for months.

By the time the summer rolls around, Thomas Frank will hopefully have his forward options fit and firing.
That would leave the Dane with little need for Rashford, even if he could prove to be a top player if given another chance in the Premier League.
