The latest Man Utd team news ahead of their home clash with AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Ruben Amorim's side will look to build upon their comfortable victory over Wolves on Monday night, but might have to do so without several key players. United trained at the club's Carrington complex on Thursday morning, with a trio of first-team stars absent from the session.

Matthijs De Ligt, Harry Maguire and Benjamin Sesko were all absent once again after they had missed the win at Molineux earlier in the week. De Ligt has missed the last two matches due to an unspecified injury, while Maguire (hamstring) and Sesko (knee) have both been sidelined since the draw with Tottenham Hotspur last month.

Matthijs De Ligt, Harry Maguire and Benjamin Sesko are all expected back in action at some stage this month, though it is unclear whether they will be available to face Bournemouth next week.

Speaking after the win over Wolves, Ruben Amorim was asked for an update on De Ligt's injury after he had initially been expected back for the match. "I don't know, sometimes you have an idea then you have to see day by day. I'm not going to say when he is coming back.”

Sesko could be back next week for the matches against Bournemouth and Aston Villa after the player's agent claimed he would be available 'very soon.' Speaking earlier this week, his agent Elvis Basanovic said: "Benjamin is feeling very well. His rehabilitation is progressing according to plan. It’s hard to say precisely when he will return. That will be up to the medical staff and the manager, but I think we’ll see him back on the pitch very soon. Maybe even sooner than expected."

When quizzed on an update for Maguire last week, Amorim simply stated he was 'still out', with no indication of when he might be available for selection again. United are also in the dark about whether Noussair Mazraoui, Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo will be available for selection in their next match. Fifa rules state clubs must release players for the Africa Cup of Nations by Monday 15 December, which has caused uncertainty at Old Trafford due to the fact United face Bournemouth in the Premier League that night.

Shea Lacey is expected to retain his squad role against Bournemouth, while fellow academy hopeful Jack Fletcher was also pictured in the most recent senior session. There were no other academy involvements, which suggests the AFCON trio could all be available.

Dalot, Dorgu, Fredricson, Heaven, Malacia, Martínez, Mazraoui, Shaw, Yoro; Casemiro, Fernandes, Mainoo, Mount, J.Fletcher, Ugarte; Amad, Cunha, Mbeumo, Lacey, Zirkzee.
