Manchester United host Bournemouth in the Premier League on Monday night, which means three players will have auditions at Old Trafford ahead of the January transfer window.
It’s no secret that Manchester United are firmly in the process of rebuilding the squad. Ruben Amorim has been tasked as head coach, with some of his decisions to date causing debate in the media and fanbase.
The next five fixtures provide an opportunity for Amorim to get United back into the top four. That would be enough to show there has been improvement, especially from last season when United finished 15th in the Premier League and lost the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur.
United fans will hope that the team has kicked on since then because that will give them the belief that they can do the same in the forthcoming campaign.
Last time out, United beat Wolves 4-1 at Molineux. Their upcoming opponents, Bournemouth, will provide a greater challenge for Amorim’s men, who will be eager to make it back-to-back wins in the league.

United have been linked with several players since the beginning of the season, but it remains to be seen if they will conduct any business in the winter transfer window.
The next Premier League match with Bournemouth presents an opportunity for three United-linked players to make an impression in front of Amorim at Old Trafford.
Firstly, Antoine Semenyo has been heavily linked with United this season, with a release clause active from January onwards.
