Liverpool, Manchester United and Leeds United on European scouting mission – Trio on radar

Liverpool, Manchester United and Leeds United have their eyes set on the Danish market.

That’s according to Bold, who report scouts from Liverpool, Manchester United and Leeds United were in attendance at the MCH Arena on Thursday.

FC Midtjylland secured a 1-0 against KRC Genk in the Europa League. Bold reports officials from Liverpool, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund were present in the stadium.

They add scouts from Leeds United, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Mönchengladbach, FC Köln and FC Cincinnati also attended the European clash.

Bayern Munich have regularly watched the Danish club’s fixtures, mainly because of Franculino Djú. The Bundesliga winners weren’t present yesterday as the striker is currently sidelined with injury.

Bold make no mention of the players that Liverpool, Manchester United and Leeds United came to watch.

This claim is relayed by Campo, who then share a short update. The Premier League trio and others very likely watched Midtjylland’s Darío Osorio, Aral Şimşir and Mikel Gogorza.

Osorio, a right winger, played 84 minutes as a right wing-back. Şimşir picked up an injury and was replaced by Gogorza in the 59th minute.

It isn’t the first time Liverpool have sent an official to Denmark. The Reds also followed Midtjylland’s 6-0 win over FC Nordsjaelland last month.
