Ruben Amorim finally trusting the youngsters

The Red Devils manager Ruben Amorim seems to be trusting the youngsters with big games now. He has been picking the 19-year-old defender from Arsenal in back-to-back Premier League games. The young defender told the Manchester United official channel, “I’ve had to be patient, and I feel the manager trusts me more now. Whenever I’m playing, I’m doing better each time. I want to keep developing and show what I can do.”

Who is the young player?

This February Manchester United signed Ayeden Heaven, a young 19-year-old defender who graduated from the Arsenal academy. The player joined Arsenal as a teen in 2019 when he was just 13 years old. The club signed him for a four-and-a-half-year contract. The player is a highly rated center back who has always delivered well. In the game against the Wolves this Monday, the manager put his faith in the youngster, and the team won 4-1. After the match Heaven appreciated the manager keeping faith in him and giving him a chance in a big game. The player believes if they keep up with this form and always perform this well in every match, then they will be unstoppable on the pitch.

The player also added, “I feel like I’m working hard every day in training, and I’m showing he can trust me in the games that I’m playing.”

“I thought I was a good player, but I knew that I first had to gain the trust of the manager, and slowly I know I’m doing that. I feel like I’m doing well at the moment, but I’ve just got to keep working.

#AydenHeaven been ready for LCB starting since last season. The kids more than capable from what he’s shown over a number of games. By opting for Shaw, Amorim has denied himself a better LWB option all season along with not developing a kid into a start option. #mufc

What do the fans have to say about Ruben Amorim’s strategy?

Manchester United fans have mixed views on the manager’s strategy. Some call him clueless; others support his decisions. Fans believe he is not using all his options in the starting XI. As players like Mainoo have made only 10 appearances this season. Some fans suggest trusting him and being patient with the process. Fans called him stubborn, someone who doesn’t have a plan B and sticks to a single strategy only. Even the Manchester United legends like Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes questioned his decisions and are not happy with him. They believe the manager is very conservative and is not ready for new risks and doesn’t give the new player any chances. But this Monday, by substituting Mainoo and also giving Heaven a chance, he has been actually appreciated by the fans also.

What are Ruben Amoris’ plans with the team?

The manager of the Red Devils, Ruben Amorim, plans on fixing the team position in the Premier League games, as he believes the club needs to climb high up because of the legacy it holds. Author’s Opinion

In my opinion, Ruben Amorim took some time to adjust well with the team, but he is definitely increasing his bonds with the players. He is also changing his strategy and has started giving the youngsters the chances they deserve on the pitch. With the win against the Wolves, the team showed what it can do and how well they can perform. The players have started to trust him also, as Ayden Heaven said in his interview “There are so many great defenders at this club that he’s trusting you to be at the middle of that defense,” he said. “He’s trusting me a lot.
