Manchester United will hope to build on their 4-1 win over Wolves last time out when they host Bournemouth on Monday evening.
The Red Devils cruised to an emphatic victory against the Premier League’s bottom side on Monday night, moving Ruben Amorim’s side up to sixth in the top flight standings.
United will hope to benefit from not competing in Europe this season, with Amorim’s squad having a full week to prepare for the visit of the Cherries.
Captain Bruno Fernandes netted twice at Molineux last time out, and Amorim will hope his fellow countryman can continue his impressive run of recent form.
Now, though, it has emerged that United could actually be considering selling the midfielder.
As per CaughtOffside, Man United are increasingly open to the idea of cashing in on midfielder Fernandes, with more bids from Saudi Arabia expected imminently.
The report claims that Pro League sides Al Hilal and Al Ittihad are both expected to make offers for the 31-year-old, who has been United’s standout player over the past few seasons.

Fernandes joined the Red Devils from Portuguese side Sporting CP back in 2020 and has since made 306 appearances for the club across all competitions, scoring 102 goals and providing 92 assists.
It is claimed that United regard Fernandes as their most sellable player, and the report suggests that the Manchester club could therefore be willing to part ways with the midfielder for a fee in the region of £70 million.
This is likely in part due to the Portugal international’s current contract with United being set to expire at the end of next season.
Fernandes was linked with a move away from Old Trafford over the summer, but the move never materialised.
United remain intent on signing at least one new midfielder, the report claims, and Fernandes could therefore be moved on in order to free up funds and space in Amorim’s squad.
