Inter Milan wingback Denzel Dumfries has been the subject of interest from West Ham, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Netherlands international, who reached the Champions League final with Inter in 2023 and 2025, has recently changed his agent, prompting discussion about his future at the Nerazzurri.
Gazzetta Dello Sport claim that Dumfries is open to a potential move, and a €25m (£22m) release clause in his contract makes him an attractive target for other clubs.

They suggest that the Hammers have “already” made an approach for the 29-year-old, although they don’t disclose exactly when this enquiry was made.
Dumfries has snubbed the move
Unfortunately for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, the Dutchman is not interested in making the switch to the London Stadium.
Gazzetta report that Dumfries would prefer to stay at Inter rather than join West Ham. He is only interested in leaving his current team if he feels that it would benefit his career. Barcelona, Manchester United and Manchester City have also been linked with the defender.
West Ham are not exactly short of options on the right
With Aaron Wan-Bissaka already in the squad, and Kyle Walker-Peters having joined from Southampton on a free transfer last summer, Nuno has sufficient depth on that side of the pitch.
It may be the case that the Irons made their approach for Dumfries prior to Walker-Peters’ arrival. That would make sense, as it was reported that the Inter star’s buyout clause became active back in July. They may have chanced their arm then and got knocked back by the player.
For January, the main focus will be on strengthening two other key positions – striker and centre-back. Signings in both areas are likely to be crucial in ensuring that the London club avoid relegation from the top flight.
