Manchester United star Bryan Mbeumo has responded to the peculiar circumstances surrounding his Africa Cup of Nations departure, suggesting he's taking it all in his stride. The forward is among three United players, along with Ivory Coast's Amad and Morocco's Noussair Mazraoui, who will be departing in the coming days to represent their countries in the competition.
FIFA has established December 15th as the deadline for players to link up with their national squads. However, this date coincides with United's Premier League home fixture against Bournemouth.
Questions remain over whether the United trio will be available for Monday night's match before flying out to join their respective nations Ruben Amorim has admitted he's still in the dark about the situation.
The confusion doesn't appear to be dampening Mbeumo or Amad's mood, though. On Friday evening, the Cameroon international posted a photo taken by Amad featuring himself and Leny Yoro on his Instagram stories.
In the image, Amad is making a comical expression whilst Yoro appears in the background. Mbeumo tagged both players and wrote: "No problem my boys" accompanied by a sunglasses emoji.
He subsequently shared another photo, this time captured by Yoro, with Amad once again making faces behind them. Whilst Mbeumo and Amad will be heading to the tournament, Frenchman Yoro will stay put at United and look to assist the team's push up the league standings.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference on Friday, Amorim revealed that doubt remains over whether Mbeumo, Amad and Mazraoui will be available for the clash with Bournemouth.
"We are waiting until the last moment to have all the players available to choose the best team to start the game," he said. "I expect to have a decision today or maybe tomorrow.
"Every national team has their ideas about when they want the players. I don't know if it's going to be the same situation (with each player). It depends on the games.
"It's frustrating but at the same time nobody knows who is going to play. So it's a good thing, I think.
"We have players to cope with everything, and with a long week you can see a lot of things to prepare the game and any situation."
Since his summer arrival, Mbeumo has become a vital figure under Amorim. The 26-year-old has featured in every Premier League match this season, finding the net six times.
Amad finds himself in a comparable position, regularly featuring as a right-wing-back starter. Mazraoui has struggled more to cement his place this campaign, though he has featured in the last two matches as part of the defensive trio.
