Manchester United will be without several crucial players for AFCON following their clash with Bournemouth on Monday evening. United welcome the Cherries to Old Trafford as they aim to continue their three-game unbeaten run.
Ruben Amorim will be missing Amad, Bryan Mbeumo and Noussair Mazraoui for the remainder of December. Despite this, the United manager is planning for Monday night's fixture with all three players available for selection.
With the January transfer window approaching, supporters will be eager to see deals completed to boost the squad for the campaign's second half.
Here, brings you all the latest developments from Old Trafford.
Adeyemi's wife's views on United move
The wife of Karim Adeyemi could prove pivotal in persuading the Borussia Dortmund winger to relocate to Manchester. BILD reports that the Germany international is currently negotiating a fresh contract that would feature a release clause of around £70million.

Nevertheless, Adeyemi must take his wife's preferences into account when finalising any new agreement, and she has expressed one specific request. Loredana, who works as a rapper, would prefer her partner to make a switch to a "major European city" for his next move.
As a result, the 23-year-old's name has been linked to numerous clubs, including United. A November report from BILD claimed that United had approached Adeyemi's representative, Jorge Mendes.
Inter Milan have also expressed interest, and both destinations could certainly be viewed as major European hotspots that would appeal to the footballer's wife.
Mbuemo fires AFCON message
Bryan Mbeumo seems unfazed about his potential early departure for AFCON next week. The Cameroon international is set to fly out to the prestigious tournament alongside Amad and Mazraoui, with doubts still hanging over whether the trio will be available for Bournemouth.

However, Mbeumo doesn't appear worried, as evidenced by a photo he posted of his teammates on Friday with a revealing caption. The snap shows Amad pulling a funny face with French teammate Leny Yoro in the background with the caption: "No problem my boys," along with a sunglasses emoji.
This response highlights the 26-year-old's laid-back attitude towards his impending AFCON departure and his potential availability for Monday night's match. Amorim confirmed in a press conference that the club are planning for all three players to be included in the squad.
Speaking on Friday, he said: "We are waiting until the last moment to have all the players available to choose the best team to start the game. I expect to have a decision today or maybe tomorrow.
"Every national team has their ideas about when they want the players. I don't know if it's going to be the same situation (with each player). It depends on the games.
"It's frustrating but at the same time nobody knows who is going to play. So it's a good thing, I think. We have players to cope with everything, and with a long week you can see a lot of things to prepare the game and any situation."
