Nottingham Forest predicted team vs Tottenham as Sean Dyche makes Douglas Luiz call

Nottingham Forest face Tottenham at the City Ground this afternoon, looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.

The Reds beat FC Utrecht in the Europa League on Thursday, with Nicolas Dominguez captaining the side and leading by example against the Eredivisie team.

However, like a lot of positions, there are shirts up for grabs and after rotating and getting a victory, it will be fascinating to see what Sean Dyche picks today.

Ahead of the clash with the North London outfit, we looked at how Forest might decide to line up against Thomas Frank’s team.

We think Dyche will go back to basics today and begin the match with some of his rested first-team players getting a nod to return to the team.

Dyche will be under no illusions that he needs to start overseeing some more Premier League wins, with Forest dangerously close to the relegation zone.

Matz Sels should return to the team against Tottenham after missing the game in Utrecht, with John Victor returning to the bench.

Across the back four, Murillo could finally link up with Nikola Milenkovic once again, whilst Nicolo Savona and Neco Williams look set to start.

In midfield, both Elliot Anderson and Ibrahim Sangare came on at half-time in Utrecht, but both should get the chance to start today against Spurs.

That will mean that Douglas Luiz doesn’t get the chance to build on his comeback performance in midweek but he will be a decent option from the bench.

All eyes will be on Morgan Gibbs-White in this one after his failed move to Tottenham during the summer, and he should start in the number 10 role.

Omari Hutchinson and Callum Hudson-Odoi could play on the flanks, with the disappointing Dan Ndoye getting himself taken out of the firing line after a somewhat poor run of form.

Igor Jesus bagged the winner in midweek and as a result, he should start in attack, with Arnaud Kalimuendo providing cover from the bench.
